Eclipse May 2003 Date: 05/15/03 - 05/16/03 Camera: Canon 10D Scope: Tak 106@ F8 This is an animation from 350 pictures I took of the eclipse, my friend Greg Sellek made this. He did a fantastic job! The Moon just came over the horizon and was bright orange then the eclipse started moments later.

Mars 2003 Opposition Date: 08/27/2003 12:30am Camera: Nikon 5000 with a William Optics 24mm eyepiece and 5x powermate attached to a 12" LX 200. Exposure: This was 46 of the best images from 4-500 in the set. All were taken at ISO 100 and the CP 5000 at HS mode and 1/30-1/15 sec. You can see one of the better raw images to the right. I did also use some details in other sets of images, but due to rotation I could not use the entire image. |
